GENERAL

What are euphorics?

Euphorics are a new category of nonalcoholic nightlife beverage crafted for conscious connection. The secret is in the stack: balancing adaptogens (herbs that help the body adapt to stress), replenishing nootropics (compounds that help enhance cognition), and nourishing botanics (plants that balance flavor and function). Stack them together and you get euphorics that lift the mind and relax the body so we can more deeply connect with others.

What are euphorics made of?

Euphorics are created from a stack of balancing adaptogens (herbs that help manage stress), replenishing nootropics (compounds that support cognition), and nourishing botanics. The only missing ingredient from euphorics is you — which has just as much influence on the effect of euphorics as what’s inside the bottle.

Do euphorics contain alcohol?

Euporics do not contain alcohol in any form.

What are adaptogens?

Adaptogens are herbs that help manage stress. Used for thousands of years, adaptogens adapt to what our bodies need by balancing cortisol, the hormone our brains produce in fight-or-flight mode: when we’re on a deadline, startled by a car horn, or anxious about a first date. Think of them like a thermostat, turning us up or calming us down until we reach homeostasis.

What are nootropics?

Nootropics are compounds — some natural and others synthetic — that support cognition. Dr. Corneliu E. Giurgea, the psychologist and chemist who coined the term, insisted that a nootropic should: support memory and ability to learn; help the brain function under intense conditions; and be virtually non-toxic. Nootropics work by targeting specific neurotransmitters in the brain like dopamine and serotonin to produce effects. While nootropics have been historically used for the purposes of enhancing performance, Kin takes a recreational approach: using specifically formulated doses of 50-100mg so you get the benefits without overdoing it.

What are botanics?

Botanics are plants that are equal parts feeling, flavor, and function. They harmonize with the adaptogens and nootropics to help Kin acclimate to the body smoothly.

Are euphorics natural?

Euphorics are not all natural. Kin uses plant-based ingredients whenever possible; all of our botanics and adaptogens came straight from Earth. Most of the nootropics used are human made. In order to create a beverage for social occasions, we found that combining natural and synthetic ingredients produced optimal effects. All of Kin’s ingredients are of the purest potency and highest quality we could find. If you have any health conditions, take any medications, or have any health questions, consult with your doctor before consuming Kin.

How much is too much?

If it’s your first time trying Kin, start with a single serving and increase slowly to find what’s right for you. Do not consume more than 4 servings in 24 hours. If you have a health condition, are taking medications, or have health-related questions, consult with your doctor before drinking Kin.

Will euphorics give me a hangover?

You mean the throbbing head, queasy stomach, and fatigued muscles we experience after a night of too much alcohol? Kin does not contain alcohol and has not been known to cause hangovers. The primary causes of hangovers include dehydration, blood acidity, and carcinogenic metabolites used when processing alcohol. Kin does not contain any carcinogenic metabolites, influence blood PH, or actively dehydrate. Water is essential to staying hydrated, so we recommend drinking plenty with your Kin for an optimal morning after.

Can I mix euphorics with alcohol?

Do not drink euphorics with alcohol or any other mind or mood-altering substances. If you have any health conditions, take any medications, or have any health questions, consult with your doctor before consuming Kin.

Do euphorics contain allergens?

The euphorics we make do not contain gluten, dairy, or nuts. If you have any concerns about the ingredients we use, ask your doctor.

Are euphorics vegan?

All of the ingredients in the euphorics we make are vegan.

HIGH RHODE

What are the ingredients in High Rhode?

Kin High Rhode contains the following ingredients: purified water, xylitol, hibiscus extract, gentian root extract, orange peel extract, licorice root extract, bitter orange extract, GABA, tyrosine, citicoline, caffeine, 5-HTP, rhodiola extract, phenylethylamine, niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, citric acid, potassium sorbate, xanthan gum, acacia gum.

How will High Rhode make me feel?

Euphorics feel different for everyone. For some, it’s a mind-easing calm. For others, it’s an uplifting joy. You are just as much of an ingredient as the ones inside. Here’s why: the ingredients in euphorics adapt to your body. Like a thermostat, they turn us up or calm us down depending on what we need to rebalance. So while you may feel an urge to get up and dance after a sip of High Rhode, a friend may be more inclined to sink into deep conversation. Your unique neurochemistry and hormones — along with sleep quality and stress levels — all have an effect on how euphorics affect you.

How does High Rhode taste?

High Rhode has an herbaceous palette with notes of earthy florals, citrus, and spice. Its bitterness makes it the perfect base to mix with other juices, sodas, and bitters — similar to how you would make a cocktail. The only difference: ours doesn’t have alcohol.

How should I serve High Rhode?

We recommend serving High Rhode as a base and craft your way like you would a cocktail. Shaken to awaken and pour 2oz over ice in a shaker. Add a juice or soda, bitters, and syrup to taste. Mix well. Top it off with seltzer and garnish like fresh citrus or herbs. For more ideas, check out our recipes.

Where can I enjoy High Rhode?

High Rhode was crafted for social occasions to more deeply connect with others. From intimate gatherings to lively parties — Kin is best when shared. May we suggest one of our upcoming events?

How does High Rhode work?

Humans may have evolved from hunting tigers but still have a primal response to stress. An end of day deadline, the fight with a roommate, that jerk on the train: all prompt our brains to release hormones like cortisol and neurotransmitters like serotonin to keep our bodies alert enough to deal. But supply is limited. After a long day of fight-or-flight, we’re running on empty and feel just as low. The ingredients in Kin Spritz help balance the body’s response to stress and refill our pleasure tanks for a blissful night ahead. As we move from a mode of depletion (feeling less) to a mode of rising (feeling more), we can connect with others well into the night.

How long does High Rhode last?

One 2oz serving is enough for most, but you may need 2 or 3. Limit 4 servings in 24 hours. Refrigerate after opening, drink within 7 days for optimal experience, and discard after three weeks. Do not freeze, as this may render it less effective or risk bottle breakage. If unopened and stored in a cool place, High Rhode has a shelf life of 6 months.

How much is a serving?

One serving of High Rhode is two ounces, or about two shots.

Does High Rhode contain sugar, calories, or carbs?

High Rhode contains 0 grams of sugar, 2 grams of carbohydrates, and 6 calories per serving.

Does High Rhode contain caffeine?

High Rhode contains 50mg of caffeine per serving to help your body metabolize the nootropics and adaptogens. It works in tandem with rhodiola rosea, an adaptogen which in a depleted state has the potential to revitalize mood. If you have a sensitivity to caffeine we recommend not drinking High Rhode too close to bedtime.

What is the relationship between High Rhode and the brain?

The brain relies on neurotransmitters to carry signals between neurons and other cells in the body and patrol physical and psychological functions like sleep, appetite, mood, and focus. But by the end of the day, we might need a little extra help to thrive socially. Aided by Vitamins B3, B6, B9, our brain takes the nootropics in Kin and uses them to support neurotransmitter levels. Tyrosine is converted into dopamine (which moderates pleasure and reward), 5-HTP is converted into serotonin (which moderates mood and social behavior), and GABA cues the central nervous system to relax. By activating the same parts of the brain as meditation, we can rise above the mood, the stress, and the chaos toward our highest social potential.

What is the relationship between High Rhode and the body?

Kin helps to mediate the “flight or fight” response that rules our daily existence. In response to acute stress, the body’s sympathetic nervous system activates due to the sudden release of hormones, resulting in increased heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate. Our ingredients are known to help mediate the intensity of this response by soothing the central nervous system. GABA slows signalling to relax the muscles and rhodiola rosea has been shown to reduce cortisol levels linked to stress. Once our bodies feel balanced, we don’t feel compelled to fight or flee — and can just be with the people around us.

Is High Rhode perishable?

Yes. Refrigerate after opening and drink within 10-14 days. Discard after three weeks. Do not freeze Kin, as this may render it less effective or risk bottle breakage. If unopened and stored in a cool place, High Rhode has a shelf life of 6 months.

When should I avoid High Rhode?

Do not consume if you have a medical condition, including but not limited to, GI disorders, heart disease or hypertension. Do not consume if you are taking any medication, including but not limited to, Coumadin, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors or SSRIs. Do not consume with alcohol. DREAM LIGHT

What are the ingredients in Dream Light?

Dream Light contains the following ingredients: L-Theanine, L-Serine, L-Tryptophan, Magnesium Glycinate, Reishi Mushroom Extract, Melatonin, water, fig juice concentrate, molasses, lactic acid, natural American oak extract, gentian root extract, smoked salt, organic ginger extract, passion flower extract, organic cinnamon extract, organic bourbon vanilla extract, potassium sorbate, chili pepper extract, organic clove extract.

How will Dream Light make me feel?

Euphorics feel different for everyone. For some, it’s warm and fuzzy. For others, it’s calm and floaty. Your unique neurochemistry has an effect on how euphorics affect your body — you are just as much of an ingredient as the ones inside this bottle. Here’s why: the ingredients in Dream Light adapt to your body. Like a thermostat, they tune in to what we need to rebalance and wind down before sleep.

How does Dream Light work?

Circadian rhythms regulate sleep, but our waking lives often have other plans. The high stress of a deadline, blue light from a phone, a midnight glass of red wine: all disrupt our brain’s ability to produce the neurotransmitters necessary for sleep. The ingredients in Dream Light help ease the mind into a state of rest, balance the body’s response to stress, and support GABA and serotonin. Because all are part of the natural cycle, Dream Light supports deep sleep well into the night.

Will Dream Light knock me out?

No, Dream Light is not intended to put you straight to sleep. Some may experience drowsiness, but it does not have a tranquilizing effect. Rather, Dream Light uses a .25mg microdose of melatonin, which signals the brain to start the sleep cycle by facilitating the production of your body’s own melatonin.

How does Dream Light taste?

Dream Light has an earthy, smoky, and smoothly spiced palette. It is rich in forest notes of oak, clove, gentian, and passionflower with the warming spice of cinnamon, chili, and ginger. Some compare it to the taste of chai.

How do I serve Dream Light?

One 1.5 ounce serving (1 shot) of Dream Light is enough for most, but you may desire 2. We recommend serving straight up or mixing with your favorite milk — ours is oat. Do not drink more than 4 servings in 24 hours.

How do I enjoy Dream Light?

Sip to close the night about 1-2 hours before sleep. Dream Light is the perfect way to ease into the evening as part of a nighttime routine — whether that’s lounging with friends during a night in, taking time to read or write by candlelight, or to curb jet lag while traveling. As we wind down, the ingredients in Dream Light ease you into a state of rest, offering a pause for pleasure in the hours before sleep.

Can I drive after drinking Dream Light?

No. We do not recommend driving after drinking Dream Light. While it won’t knock you out, Dream Light is specifically intended to signal the brain and body that it’s time to wind down for sleep, and it is not recommended to operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery.

How much is a serving?

One serving of Dream Light is 1.5 ounces, or about 1 shot.

Does Dream Light contain sugar, calories, or carbs?

Dream Light contains 1 gram of sugar, 5 calories, and 2 grams of carbohydrates per serving.

Is Dream Light perishable?

Yes. Refrigerate after opening and drink within 7 days for peak efficacy and taste. Do not freeze Kin, as this may render it less effective or risk bottle breakage.

How long after drinking alcohol can I consume Dream Light?

Kin in any format and alcohol don’t mix. We would recommend drinking Kin after the effects of alcohol have worn off to avoid counteracting with the effects of euphorics.

When should I avoid Dream Light?

Do not consume if you are: under 18; breastfeeding, pregnant, or may become pregnant; have a medical condition; or are taking medication. Do not consume with alcohol. May cause drowsiness, so do not consume when driving or operating heavy equipment. Use only as directed: start with a single serving and increase slowly to determine the amount that works for you. Do not consume more than 4 servings within 24 hours. Discontinue use immediately if you feel any unwanted effects. Keep out of reach of children.
